The Story Behind Box Home Loans:
How a Hamburger Inspired a Revolution in Mortgage Lending
Box Home Loans is the brainchild of Aaron Brown and Jeff Reeves. Aaron and Jeff have a combined 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
Having created a hugely successful mortgage brokerage, Aaron and Jeff are entrepreneurs at the core and have been inspired by other wildly successful entrepreneurs. For example, while on a business trip to Southern California a few years back, Aaron and Jeff went out of their way to eat at In-N-Out Burger, an essential stop on any trip to California.
Strangely enough, the concept of Box Home Loans was borne while the two enjoyed America’s best fast-food burger. They marveled at the efficiency of In-N-Out’s process. What struck them as particularly impressive was the lack of options on the menu: a single, a double, one-size fry, and a shake. That’s it. No mango chicken salads. No spicy, crunchy breakfast burritos. You get the point. Nothing but burgers. They do one thing, and they do it better than anyone else.
That was the inspiration behind Box Home Loans. Aaron and Jeff realized that if they created a company devoted to one kind of borrower and one kind of loan that they could operate with extreme efficiency. And that efficiency would allow them to slash prices for the cream of the crop clientele that fit into their box.
